Barely spending a little over five months as country's health minister, the Delhi MP and medical doctor by training Harsh Vardhan on Monday took charge as the new minister of science & technology and earth sciences, replacing another doctor Jitendra Singh, and said he would work to infuse new energy into the research institutions of the government.
