Chennai lawyer questions practice restrictions
A young lawyer has dragged the mighty Bar Council of India (BCI) to court, assailing a controversial rule which says every practising lawyer must renew his licence every five years and that newly enrolled lawyers must practice only in subordinate courts for the first two years.
