As Google’s app developer conference comes closes, rumours, leaks are taking place all over. Now DroidLife reports, that the next Android OS, version 4.1 will be called Jelly Bean.
The report says that according to the Google Play listing in the US for the Galaxy Nexus phone, it shows that the phone will be the first one with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
It seems that Google caught on to this ‘mistake’, and pretty soon, the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean description was gone. The question all over is that whether this was a deliberate mistake. Hopefully Google’s app developer conference next week should sort out all the trouble. Will Jelly Bean be released next week? Perhaps.
Even if Google does release it, there’s no need for every Android user to rejoice. Lots of Android users still haven’t got the Ice-Cream Sandwich update, so don’t keep your hopes high for Jelly Bean either.
Just two days back there were reports that Samsung Galaxy Note II would be launched in October, the same time as Apple’s next iPhone. According to that the Note II would be running on Android’s Jelly Bean. Well, hopefully those who buy the new Note will get Android’s next OS.
