PIL in SC seeks codification of MPs' immunity
Following the ugly situation resulting from derogatory comments by BJP's Daya Shankar Singh against BSP chief Mayawati, a PIL in the Supreme Court on Wednesday sought codification of the Constitutional immunity from prosecution granted to MPs and MLAs for their speeches in the House to stop its abuse. ​
