The Crime Branch-Criminal Investigation Department (CB-CID) may soon summon Chennai Super Kings former principal Gurunath Meiyappan as the agency seeks to expand its scope of investigation from IPL betting to match fixing. A senior CB-CID officer said Meiyappan would be summoned, along with Chennai-based hotelier Vikram Agarwal, bookie Uttam C Jain alias Kitty, and suspended superintendent of police G Sampathkumar.
