Google Threatens To Sue Huge YouTube MP3 Conversion Site

According to a letter seen by TorrentFreak, Google are threatening action against one of the web’s largest YouTube conversion sites. The site, which according to Google’s own stats is pulling in 1.3 million visitors every day, extracts MP3 audio from YouTube videos and makes it available for users to download. Google’s lawyers say this must stop, and have given the site seven days to comply.
YouTube is without doubt the biggest free resource of videos and music available online today. It can be enjoyed on the site itself, embedded in any webpage, or accessed via YouTube’s Application Programming Interface.
This API, as it’s better known, provides web developers with access to certain YouTube features, but like many free gifts it comes with certain strings attached, aka the YouTube Terms of Service (ToS).

Samsung Electronics Co said it was investigating reports that one of its flagship Galaxy S III smartphones exploded in a user's car in Ireland.

Samsung launched the phone, the strongest rival for Apple's iPhone, in Europe on May 29 and in the United States on Thursday. It plans to roll out the device in Samsung's lucrative home market in South Korea on Monday.
A Dublin-based consumer posted comments and photos on a web site on Wednesday saying his Galaxy phone exploded while mounted on his car dashboard.
"There's no confirmation it was a fault with the phone. It may actually have been caused by a combination of my car mount and my car's heating system," the consumer wrote.

Ultrabooks to contribute 50 percent of revenue by 2014: HP India

HP-Ultrabook-large.jpg
Bullish about its business prospects, technology giant Hewlett-Packard (HP) India said the sale of Ultrabooks would contribute 50 percent of its revenue by 2014."We expect by end of 2013, 15 per cent of our shipment will be Ultrabook and by 2014 end it should be around 35-40 percent. And, if it touches 40 per cent, it will contribute 50 percent to our revenue," HP India (Consumer Laptops) category head Ashish Gupta said here today.
Currently, laptops comprise about 70 percent of the company's total sales. The key differences between a notebook and an ultrabook are that the latter is much lighter and slicker, with double the battery life and shorter booting up time.
"Obviously, we would like to consolidate our market share. Ultrabooks will comprise 10 percent of our total volumes in the notebook segment in 2012," Gupta said.
Buoyed by new Ultrabook models, HP India is eyeing 21 percent market share in the consumer notebook segment in India by the year-end.
HP, which currently has over 50 models in its notebook portfolio, recently hiked prices by two per cent to three percent due to sharp rupee depreciation against the US dollar.

Intel dominates the market for computer processors (CPUs) - its Intel Inside sticker is on around 80 per cent of the world's PCs - but future growth is in mobile application processors.

Demand for these is seen rising around 40 per cent annually through 2014, according to Nomura research, while growth in PC processors will be in single digits. By 2015, the global market for application processors (AP) will have jumped fourfold to $33 billion, while the CPU market will shrink by

Innovation management is the discipline of managing processes in innovation. It can be used to develop both product and organizational innovation. Without proper processes, it is not possible for R&D to be efficient; innovation management includes a set of tools that allow managers and engineers to cooperate with a common understanding of goals and processes. The focus of innovation management is to allow the organization to respond to an external or internal opportunity, and use its creative efforts to introduce new ideas, processes or products. Importantly, innovation management is not relegated to R&D; it involves workers at every level in contributing creatively to a company's development, manufacturing, and marketing. By utilizing appropriate innovation management tools, management can trigger and deploy the creative juices of the whole work force towards the continuous development of a company. The process can be viewed as an evolutionary integration of organization, technology and market by iterating series of activities: search, select, implement and capture.

USD INR exchange rate: Major trends in past few years and where is it heading ?

The USD-INR exchange rate is an important indicator of investor sentiment and can significantly impact not only the fortunes of individual firms and sectors, but also the government. The exchange rate of the Indian rupee (or INR) is determined by market conditions. However, in order to maintain effective exchange rates, the RBI actively trades in the USD/INR currency market. The RBI intervenes in the currency markets to maintain low volatility in exchange rates and remove excess liquidity from the economy.

It is believed that there is significant downside risk to USD-INR exchange rate  and here are some risk factors behind this.
